Five TTP militants arrested in Lahore

LAHORE:?Five militants belonging to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were arrested by Lahore police on Friday, during a raid in the city.

CCPO Lahore Aslam Tareen, during a press conference, confirmed the arrests of the TTP members. He also informed that a large cache weapons and explosives were recovered from the suspects.

Tareen said that the country is in a state of war with the Taliban, and although they cannot?guarantee?that incidents of terrorism will not take place in the future, the police is trying its best to take preventive measures.

Different measures are being taken by the police to maintain peace during Muharram.
