Time management, the key to better life

Time management is primarily to focus on its objectives.

The Pareto Principle or the 80/20 rule says that 80% of the desired outcome is generated by 20% of a time well managed. This can also be interpreted as 80% of efforts that were not good time management produces only 20% of the expected results. This shows how good time management can increase your profitability and you free up time for your family, friends and leisure.

Time management is not an exact science and does not consist of a fixed list of rules to be applied to time management. Everyone is different and therefore time management must be approached from a different approach for each person. But there are some fundamental rules which give a good basis for progress in time management. These rules are the following:

- Set specific objectives
- Planning
- Keep a to-do list
- Prioritize tasks to run according to their importance and urgency
- Divide large tasks into smaller sets

These basic principles can be refined with time and experience or specific needs of each.

Unfortunately time management relies more knowledge than these basic rules outlined in the preceding paragraph. Capacitors as the power of decision, critical thinking and emotional intelligence are critical to the development of a person.
Each knowledge you obtain during your life and training and account must be taken into account and applied in your time management. - Physical appearance means a healthy body, less stress and fatigue
- Intellectual aspect involves, learn and develop these mental abilities
- Social aspects involved, develop social relationships
- Career aspect involves the study and work
- Emotional aspect involves the emotions and how to know
Spiritual aspect involves a personal research on the meaning of life

As it is difficult to have tasks to do each day for each of these 6 key aspects to a balanced life. You must determine which of these aspects of your life is neglected and give it more attention. Determine what aspects lack of attention for a balanced life is an integral part time management. Your person is built based on each of these aspects. If you devalued one of these aspects is neglected as a part of yourself.

One of the best ways to learn about time management and at the same time improve your life is to follow the following tips:

- Revise the objectives they are medium or long term. You can do this by keeping a list that you update regularly and is always accessible and visible.
- Determine which tasks are needed and which are not reaching your goals in the preceding paragraph and which activities are necessary for development of 6 key aspects to a balanced life.
- Keep a record of your work done, this will allow you to analyze your strengths and weaknesses and improve your time management.
- Avoid procrastination and try to execute the necessary tasks immediately.
- Each of us has a different biological rhythm that corresponds to the peak level of concentration and performance. Know yourself and undertake the most difficult tasks during your peak concentration and performance.
- Reward yourself when completing a task is very difficult to effectively motivate and improve his time management.
- Learn to say no. This is easier said than done if you will pardon the expression. This also applies to family and friends, but be careful. We must know the limits and do not get to say no to everything.
